Charlotte Crosby has opened up on her mother's past battle with breast cancer in her brand-new BBC Three series; Charlotte in Sunderland - detailing how her mum had 'no signs and no symptoms' prior to her diagnosis.
Episode four of the new show, which landed on the BBC iPlayer on Wednesday morning, opens with Charlotte sending a voice note to partner Jake Ankers telling him that she is inviting her best friend Lauren round to their house for a chat.
And as Lauren arrives, the two waste no time whatsoever in getting into conversation about the devastating news with regards to Charlotte's mum, Letitia.

Charlotte, 32, says: "We're obviously getting ready for the launch and you know my mam had the boob mammogram...so we're waiting for the results. So they've come back - yeah. She's got breast cancer, Lauren."
Lauren then embraces a teary Charlotte, who goes on to detail how an amazing weekend in York to promote her new clothing collection was tipped on its head by the shocking revelation. She adds: "So we've come back from that amazing weekend and that was looming over our heads - and I was being so positive.
"I was like 'you know you've got to be positive and strong' and I've never cried in front of my mam yet. It's like every time I get positive, something happens that just makes it seem like there's nothing to be positive about again."
The show then cuts to a piece to camera interview, in which Charlotte talks about the shock diagnosis and how her mum had no signs or symptoms of cancer prior. She says: "It's hit us like a tonne of bricks - she only went for a routine mammogram. There were no signs and no symptoms, so the diagnosis has been a massive shock."
Charlotte then speaks to Lauren about the plan of action to combat the cancer, explaining that how she would need intensive chemotherapy and become "really poorly".
Charlotte adds: "So there's these other results come back, she's tested positive for two types of cancer and one of them is HER2 Hormone - which is aggressive and fast growing. So what we thought might just be an operation to remove it, is now she's gonna have to have chemo, and she's gonna get really poorly, and she might lose her hair.
"So she's just beside herself and she's just talking like she's gonna die."
In October last year, Charlotte announced that her mum was 'doing amazing' after being halfway through her chemotherapy. Taking to the stories section of her Instagram account, she told her millions of followers: "Late night hairdresser sessions styling my mams wig for her while she's visiting with my dad and brother.
"She's doing amazing by the way! I've noticed I've had a lot of DM's asking how she's getting on! She's now nearly halfway through her chemo!"
Metro.co.uk this month reported that during a chat with Charlotte in January, the former Geordie Shore star told the publication that mum Letitia has now completed her treatments, and the family are awaiting her next mammogram to hopefully get the all-clear.
