Charlotte Crosby addressed the backlash after she complained about her ex Gary Beadle not congratulating her on her pregnancy.
The former couple were on and off for 12 series in total and made it official in 2011 before they broke up in 2016.
Since then, Gaz, 34, has moved on with now-wife Emma McVey. They welcomed a son called Chester in 2018 and a daughter named Primrose Ivy in 2020.
Charlotte, 32, is now heavily pregnant and expecting her first child with her boyfriend Jake Ankers, also 32, whom she has been in a relationship with for around a year.
While having a chat with Sophie Kasaei on her Charlotte Crosby Always On podcast, the reality star questioned why her ex didn't congratulate her on her pregnancy, considering she congratulated him when Emma fell pregnant.
"When he announced he was pregnant with Emma, I went straight on Twitter and congratulated him because I thought, you know what, let bygones be bygones," she told her pal.
She said it was 'hard' for her at the time as it wasn't long after her ectopic pregnancy.
The Geordie Shore star suffered an ectopic pregnancy while Gaz was away filming Ex On The Beach in 2016 and was worried about the impact it would have on her fertility in the future.
"I was dealing with a load of sad things," Charlotte added. "But where was my congratulations?"
Sophie responded: "I don't know, Charlotte. I really don't know."
Charlotte added that she can't 'see why we can't be civil.'
"We've been through a lot. I don't see why there can't be no conversation," she explained. "That's why I can't wrap my head around it. He didn't congratulate us on my pregnancy."
The star received some backlash over the short clip, with some telling the star to 'move on' from Gary.
It got to the point Charlotte disabled her comments and took to her Stories to address them.

She wrote over a black background: "I've decided to disable the comments on my recent post! I was probably a little naïve to how much of a debate my comment would spark!
"And all opinions are totally and utterly welcome, but I did not want to spark any trolling or negative comments! The small part of the chat was just a clip from a larger conversation about all things geordie shore reunion.
"So hoping if you listen to the full thing you may get the context a little better."
She also filmed herself talking to the camera where she reiterated the same points and added that the comments were welcome until they turned nasty.
"As soon as the comments started to become nasty or vile or very trolly towards certain individuals, that's not on," she said.
