Charlie Bird took to Twitter this week with a message of thanks for his fans who are helping him to ‘survive’.

He posted a short clip asking people to light a candle to mark ‘that great day last April’ and appeared with his beloved dog Tiger.

Alongside the sweet video, he wrote: “Every one of you is helping me to continue to survive. Please light a candle this weekend to celebrate that great day last April.
