Retired broadcaster Charlie Bird has praised medical staff who assisted him after he suffered a second fall in the space of a few weeks.
The veteran RTÉ journalist posted to Twitter to inform followers of his health and subsequent recovery, after the incident.
Charlie was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) in late 2021 and has been campaigning about the debilitating illness, which he said, has caused him muscle stiffness and led to uncontrollable crying in the past, Dublin Live reported.
