Londoner’s Diary
Skirts were very much off sick at Picturehouse Central for the premiere of The Moment, a mockumentary about Charli xcx and her seminal album, Brat. Both Charli and fellow singer Robyn eschewed trousers in an ode to Brat summer, while Alexander Skarsgård also rose to the occasion in a pec-baring satin shirt. The film is a satirical retelling of Brat mania and the perils of becoming too zeitgeisty. Charli told the Standard that she played an exaggerated version of herself, as well as “playing into this completely fictionalised version of myself that maybe other people think I am.” Read: a nightmarish diva. How did she find life imitating art, imitating life? “Honestly, at points, a bit of a headf***.” She was accompanied by her artistic guru Aidan Zamiri, who also directed the film and led the entourage down the road for an after-party at pop-up nightclub Lost.

Cynthia Erivo traded Wicked green for blood red on the opening night of her one-woman production of Dracula at the Noël Coward Theatre. Erivo plays a modern version of the Transylvanian vampire, acrylic nails and all, as well as narrating several other characters’ lines. Actors Florence Pugh and David Tennant were in the audience on the opening night. Earlier in the week, Erivo hosted a cocktail party with bag-maker Mulberry in the Vesper Bar at the Dorchester. Singer Celeste and musician Cktrl went along, while Zezi Ifore DJed.

Givenchy had a dinner at The Roof Gardens with models Dennis Okwera, Elfie Reigate and co, while Green Party leader Zack Polanski was at the Attitude 101 Awards at the Rosewood Hotel with his boyfriend Richie Bryan.
