Charles Spencer said Princess Diana was 'genuinely in love' with then-Prince Charles when they married in London in July 1981, despite her telling him that Charles had said he was not in love with her the day before the ceremony.

The 9th Earl Spencer made the claim during an appearance on CBS Mornings on 28 September, while discussing his new memoir, Swan Song: Diana, My Sister.
