Tina Brown's The Palace Papers hits shelves next week and claims to reveal details of "life behind palace walls". Two years in the making, the book features interviews and information from more than 120 insiders and sources.
According to various sources, it also contains allegations about the royals, covering everything from Prince Charles's requests that his shoelaces are ironed, to insight into the Duchess of Cambridge's relationship with her sister-in-law, Meghan Markle. Extracts have already been released ahead of its publication on May 3, published in The Daily Mail.
In response, The Mirror's Zoe Forsey and Rebecca Russell have examined some of the most shocking claims so far, and - in their words - "it's fair to say Brown doesn't hold back". They even go so far as to say that "it won't be pleasant reading for members of The Firm."
