Lauren Goodger 's on-off boyfriend Charles Drury has passionately denied cheating on the reality TV star after she kicked him out of the family home in November.
Charles claimed on Monday that he "never cheated" and was "keeping his head down" going forward - as it was announced he and the former TOWIE star are expecting their second baby together on Monday.
Lauren, 35, and the amateur football player welcomed their first child, daughter Larose, into the world in July 2021, and less than a year on, the TV personality is now 16 weeks pregnant with a second daughter.
The on-off couple have had a turbulent relationship since becoming parents, but Charles has strong denied sleeping with anyone while still in a relationship with his ex-girlfriend and the mother of his child.
Amy Gilbert, who enjoyed a fling with the dad-of-one back in November, had a seemingly different recollection of events on her Instagram Stories - branding the builder "a disgusting excuse of a man".
Posting to his Instagram Stories, Charles wrote: "Remember social media isn't real life! I've got a beautiful daughter & another one the way [sic], I don't have to express my love & happiness about things online all the time.
"I've never cheated & things might not have worked out how they should've but I'm working hard, keeping my head down to make sure I'm the best version of myself to be a good man & good dad."
Earlier this month, it was reported the builder enjoyed a fling with Instagram model Amy, 24, during his brief break-up from Lauren last year.
On Monday, Amy also took to her Instagram Stories as it was revealed Lauren was pregnant with her second child - branding her former flame Charles "disgusting".
"Wouldn't usually come on social media to voice my opinion but after today I feel like I had too," the brunette beauty wrote in a post seen by the MailOnline.
Seemingly addressed Charles via her Story post, she continued: "Now this all makes so much sense why you ran off so quickly, why you was so brash and evil that you wanted me to make my decision so quickly so it suited YOU, you wouldn't support me because it would 'ruin your whole life'.
"Everything was about YOU, you made me feel so alone. You really are a disgusting excuse of a 'man'."
Speaking about her pregnancy on Monday, Lauren confessed she was "in two minds" about becoming a mum-of-two so quickly.
The reality TV star also admitted conceiving a second child so quickly came as a "shock" to her.
"We weren’t very careful and Charlie was really pleased, but being honest I was really in two minds about it," she revealed to OK! magazine.
"I was like, 'I’m just getting myself back together – I’m going back to square one. Is this fair?' You get real mum guilt, like, 'What about Larose? She’s still a baby, she still needs me, I won’t be able to be there for her'.
"A lot went through my mind which is why I’ve held out a bit longer until I’ve announced it. Charlie was like, 'I really want this baby'. And I said, 'So do I'.
The mum-to-be added: "I made the decision to go ahead with it and I’m so glad I did."
