1. “Well, when I was washing a part of my body, I almost had a little incident.”
That was Charles Barkley, on The Steam Room podcast, doing what Charles Barkley does best: Entertain the masses.
Barkley and cohost Ernie Johnson were answering a question from a fan who wanted to know if a bar of soap hits the ground, does the soap become dirty or does the ground become clean.
This was the opening Barkley needed to rant about hotel soap and share a personal anecdote that could’ve been straight out of a Curb Your Enthusiasm episode. In fact, the conversation between Barkley and Johnson had strong Larry-Jeff vibes.
Barkley: You know I travel with my own soap? You knew that didn’t you?
Johnson: No.
Barkley: I travel with a big bar of soap. I love soap.
Johnson: Why, are you afraid it’s not gonna be in the hotel?
Barkley: These hotels started being cheap. Those bars ain’t big enough. Because I almost had a couple of accidents with the soap in hotels.
Johnson: In what way?
Barkley: Well, when I was washing a part of my body, I almost had a little incident.
Johnson: What the heck are you talking about?
Barkley: I almost had a little incident with those little bars of soap.
Johnson: Almost lose it?
Barkley: I almost lost it and I was like, ‘WHOA, that was too close for comfort.’ So now I travel with my own big bars of soap.

The exchange between Johnson and Barkley aired on Inside the NBA on Thursday and when the camera cut back to the studio, Shaq was beside himself, while Kenny Smith had some questions about Barkley’s big bar of soap vs. small bar of soap philosophy.
2. Padres relief pitcher Steven Wilson entered Thursday’s game against the Braves in the sixth inning and relied on a pitch known as a “sweeper,” which is a combination of a slider and cutter. However, the person operating the scoreboard in the stadium was a tad confused about the phrase.
Braves scoreboard guy clearly thinks new “sweeper” pitch sounds super stupid. He is an American hero. pic.twitter.com/eQEIpCGxXD

4. Many WWE fans expected last week’s SI Media With Jimmy Traina podcast guest, Cody Rhodes, to beat Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. However, when the Tribal Chief got the win, there was outrage. And here is Reigns to pour salt in the wound.
Helping fathers teach life lessons all around the world.
