Spurs rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama arrived at the Footprint Center on Tuesday for San Antonio’s showdown with Phoenix sporting a fantastic Halloween costume.
Wembanyama showed up dressed as the fictional supernatural character Slenderman. The character, which was featured in the 2018 American horror film of the same name, is a thin and unnaturally tall figure with a featureless white head and face wearing a black suit.
On TNT's NBA pregame show, Ernie Johnson and Kenny Smith were admiring Wembanyama's costume calling it "really cool."
During the segment, Charles Barkley roasted Shaquille O'Neal for not knowing who Slenderman was by claiming it was simply due to O'Neal never having been "slim."
Chuck: “You don’t know Slenderman?!”
