Charles Barkley has been married to his wife, Maureen, since 1989, so he surely doesn’t have any experience with dating apps. But the longtime TNT analyst is known for his ability to share fiery opinions on any topic, so when a fan called in to Barkley and Ernie Johnson’s podcast The Steam Room with a question about dating apps, Chuck was more than ready to tell the world how he feels.
“What do you think is the worst thing that a person can put in their bio on a dating app?” the caller asked. Barkley was prepared with a laundry list of gripes.

“First of all, these dating apps—none of these people look like they’re supposed to look,” Barkley said. “You can’t show a picture when you were hot in high school or college. The picture has to be within a three-month window. Don’t put a picture when you used to be hot and you’re not anymore.”
Barkley also took issue with “boring” personal information in a bio, such as bland statements like “I like movies” or “I like to shop.” And he’s not a fan of people using cute pets to score easy points with potential suitors.
“Nobody saw a hot chick and say, ‘Hey, what about the dog?’” Barkley said. “Nobody ever said, ‘Look at that ugly girl with the cute dog in the picture. Let me click her.’”
