Charles Barkley had a hysterical response to Jayson Tatum’s pregame shirt ahead of Celtics-Heat

Charles Barkley never ceases to amaze with what he’s able to find humor in on TNT’s Inside the NBA.

During pregame coverage for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals between the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics, forward Jayson Tatum walked into Miami’s Kaseya Center wearing a Nahmia-branded shirt.

However, Barkley seemed to misread Tatum’s shirt and thought the bottom logo said “Bahamas.”

Well, either that or he knew very well what it said and was still going to land the absolutely hysterical punchline about the Celtics already being in vacation mode as they’re down 3-0 to the Heat.

The way Barkley’s voice breaks a bit as he’s trying to stifle a laugh at the idea of Tatum wearing a shirt that says “Bahamas” on it ahead of maybe getting swept in an NBA playoff series is priceless.

Whether it was an intentional gag or a hilarious misunderstanding, Barkley’s commentary is always a welcomed part of NBA coverage.
