- King Charles and Queen Camilla have visited the Chelsea Flower Show in London.
- A key stop for the royal couple was The King’s Foundation Curious Garden, a collaborative exhibit designed to inspire public interest in gardening, featuring Charles, Sir David Beckham, and TV gardener Alan Titchmarsh.
- Sir David Beckham wore the white bloom of his newly launched English shrub rose, a special commission from his daughter Harper to mark his recent 50th birthday.
- King Charles also met Dame Judi Dench, with whom he discussed the “extraordinary” Gaia sculpture in the Campaign to Protect Rural England’s garden, and interacted with Zinc, a cocker spaniel trained to detect plant diseases.
- This year's show, which also saw gnomes painted for a charity auction, was also toured by other royals including the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.
