The King and Queen left a handwritten note at the 9/11 memorial in New York as they paid their respects to those killed in the September 11 attacks.

The note saying said they “stand in enduring solidarity with the American people” was left by the Royal couple at the imposing memorial in New York, honouring the thousands of people who lost their lives almost 25 years ago.
