Charlene White's I'm A Celebrity exit message from sister overheard by fans after emotional reunion

Charlene White received a very emotional greeting from her 'proud' sister Carina, after she became the first star to be voted off the new series of I'm A Celebrity on Friday night.

Charlene's eviction came at the end of a very eventful episode for the Loose Women host, which saw her go to pieces and shout those famous words "I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here," after being left petrified by the Watery Grave trial she had to face with Boy George.

A distraught Charlene later broke down in camp and was comforted by Sue Cleaver, who told her "we all have our limits," as Charlene told her she felt she'd left everyone down. Having been voted for by the public to do the latest I'm A Celebrity trial, bookmakers seemed convinced that Charlene, also an ITV news anchor, would be first out, with her even surpassing former 'dead cert' to get the boot first, Matt Hancock, in the odds.

And the bookies proved to be spot on, as, after the safe contestants were revealed by Ant and Dec and, just Sue and Charlene were left awaiting their fate, the presenters revealed it would be Charlene who'd be packing her bags to leave camp. She swiftly joined the Geordie duo on set outside of the jungle for her exit interview, reacting with delight at the glass of fizz put in front of her, before talking about how ;weird' it was having Matt Hancock go in and how it 'compromised' her job as a journalist.

After a chat with Ant and Dec and a reel of her I'm A Celeb best bits, it was time for Charlene to leave, as she made her way across the show's famous bridge, adorned with red carpet, to be greeted by Carina at the other end.

The two sisters quickly embraced each other for a hug, with Carina's first words to Charlene picked up by mics as she told her: "I'm so amazingly proud of you. Honestly, so proud of you."

The overwhelming favourite to win I'm A Celebrity this year is Jill Scott, with the England Lionesses hero well ahead of Owen Warner and Mike Tindall in the latest odds.
