A Lanarkshire charity has thanked local businesses for showing true Christmas spirit and providing vital support which ensured the success of its events last month.
Go Together has been operating from St Andrew’s Church in Wishaw's Belhaven Terrace for the last few years.
The registered charity supports individuals, many who are recovering from addiction issues, and their families, helping them improve their lives while also helping others.
It held three Christmas Fayre events during the festive run-up with free gifts for all children under the age of 12. The fayre events were successful thanks in no small part to an army of volunteers and support from businesses.
Santa paid a visit to the event and Christmas spirit was in the air as carols played in the background.
Charity founder Garry King Snr said: “Tesco Extra Wishaw staff members Ross, Libby, Molly and Natalie saved the day and helped us out by kindly donating a large quantity of food, soups and pasta for members of our community that are finding it tough financially and emotionally.
“We’d also like to thank MGM timber and Beauty Kitchen in Wishaw who also showed an abundance of kindness over the three Sundays.
“And we’d like to give a massive shout out to all of our volunteers, that show up and have contributed so much. Especially our youngest, nine-year-old Isobela."
