As reported earlier, the Uttarakhand Government has issued new directions for the Char Dham Yatra that is scheduled to commence from April 22, 2023. This year, all pilgrims visiting Uttarakhand for the said yatra, will be required to undergo mandatory registration.
It’s expected that the state will likely see more pilgrims turning up for the yatra. Reports have it that this time, strict measures will be put in place to ensure all domestic and international pilgrims have gone through the compulsory registration. In short, none will be allowed to go ahead without compulsory registration.
