Channing Tatum cheers on Norway dressed as footballer Erling Haaland

Magic Mike actor Channing Tatum has appeared in a sea of Norway fans dressed up as Manchester City star Erling Haaland.

The 46-year-old sported a blond wig and Norway’s red and blue football kit during Friday’s World Cup fixture against France at Boston Stadium.

The actor appeared to be cheering on the Norwegian men’s football team alongside other Haaland-lookalikes.

Despite the support, the game ended with a 4-1 defeat, leaving the Scandinavian country second in their group.

It comes after Tatum starred in a number of Nike ads where he appeared as the Manchester City forward’s stunt double.

In one of the videos, the pair appeared to be meditating wearing the Norwegian football kit with Tatum watching the footballer closely before they began to levitate.

Another video for Nike Football showed Tatum answer a question as Haaland after being named “match winner”.

Tatum said: “I don’t really like to think about what I’ve won. I like to think about what I’m going to win.”

The Hollywood actor is best known for starring in 21 Jump Street, Step Up and She’s The Man.

He is also known for the 2012 comedy drama Magic Mike, which has since been adapted into a West End show.
