Jeremy Vine has been hit with nearly 200 complaints after holding a debate on the Covid vaccine on his Channel 5 show on January 24.
Broadcasting watchdog Ofcom received complaints from 199 people who were unhappy about comments made on the show.
The viewers who lodged their annoyance felt they had to contact Ofcom over several remarks regarding unvaccinated patients that are currently in hospitals across the UK - live on-air.
Twitter was flooded with critical comments when the show shared a clip on Twitter where Yasmin alibhai-brown and Lowri Turner sat and discussed if the government should scrap mandatory jabs for NHS workers with Jeremy.
Under the clip, several worried people messaged on the micro-blogging site that they were worried misinformation was being spread.
An upset viewer typed: "@JeremyVineOn5 @theJeremyVine and @y_alibhai JV you made no attempt to correct her misinformation and put her, and your viewers right - that anybody can contract or pass it on. Why not? Your failure contributes to the fearmongering and divisiveness."
A second added: "It's unbearable to endlessly watch people talk about these things when they're basing their opinions on false and missing information."
A third joined in: "Shock, this woman being extreme again.. almost like it’s just for the TV."
Others agreed with Yasmin that NHS staff should be jabbed and that if they don't they should be sacked.

A supporter penned: "Definitely not, 1000s of people have caught covid at hospitals. It's vital that all NHS workers have the jabs."
More added: "It’s just a little immunity vaccination-if others’ health & your job’s at stake, you’d just do it. I really don’t understand why anyone who works in Healthcare, wouldn’t get vaccinated. If they’re anti Covid jab or anti vaccination, they’re in the wrong job" and "They're not losing their jobs, they choose to walk away, instead of doing what over 90% of the rest of us have already done."
Under current plans health workers must have their first jab by February 3 and be fully vaccinated by April 1.
Those who fail to do so may be unable to continue in their frontline roles.
It comes amid reports that 80,000 healthcare professionals remain unvaccinated, and are at risk of losing their jobs over the mandatory policy.
The Mirror has contacted Channel 5 and Jeremy Vine for comment.
