CHANNEL 4 has confirmed plans for a live TV debate between the three candidates in the SNP leadership race.
Ash Regan, Humza Yousaf and Kate Forbes all took part in the first of nine hustings on Wednesday evening in Cumbernauld.
It was livestreamed on the party’s website following a row over media access.

In a post on their social media, the broadcaster said: “Channel 4 News is the first network to confirm plans for a UK-wide TV debate of the three candidates for the next leader of the Scottish National Party.
“The 30-minute head-to-head will take place in Glasgow on Thursday March 9 2023 at 7pm.”
The next hustings is set to take place on Friday, March 3, in Glenrothes.
In terms of TV debates, STV will also be hosting one with all three candidates on Tuesday March 7 at 9pm.
The BBC is also hosting a husting in a debate night special on March 14.
