Rishi Sunak has been advised to drop plans to privatise Channel 4 in another U-turn from Boris Johnson’s plans, according to reports.

Former Culture Secretary Nadine Dorries had made the plans to take the broadcaster out of public ownership but now Michelle Donelan has written to the Prime Minister saying this would “not be the right decision”.
