Channel 4 issues statement as it cuts ties with Escape to the Chateau stars Dick and Angel

Dick Channel 4 Angel Strawbridge Mirror Online Two Rivers

Channel 4 has confirmed it has cut ties with Dick and Angel Strawbridge.

The couple renovated their home in the extremely popular show, Escape to the Chateau. Viewers were devastated when the show came to an end last year after nine series.

However, Dick and Angel will not be fronting another Channel 4 programme as the broadcaster confirmed it had walked away from the couple. A spokesperson told our sister site, Mirror Online: "Following a review we have taken the decision to not work with Dick and Angel on any new productions in the future."
