There's going to be an autumnal mix of weather conditions over the next week.
The Met Office reports that there's plenty of wind and rain on the cards for much of the country over the next few days. Bands of showers will hit Merseyside and at times they will he heavy and accompanied with blustery wind.
However there's also set to be times of calmer weather, when the wind drops and rain stops. Today, on Thursday, October 6, it will be breezy but less windy than the last few days.

Forecasters say there will be occasional showers throughout the day and it will feel slightly warmer with temperatures at 16C. A band of heavy rain will move south during the morning on Friday, with sunshine and heavy blustery showers following from the north.
Over the weekend it will be mostly dry, but it will become cloudy on Sunday with rain later in the evening. It will be a mostly mild weekend but chilly in the night and often windy.
Speaking in the Met Office 10 Day Trend, Alex Deakin said: "The pressure pattern for the next few days will be dominated by low pressure to the north and high pressure to the south. Plenty of isobars are on the charts, meaning it’s going to stay pretty blustery.
"At times we’ll see these weather fronts drifting through, bringing bands of showery rain across the country. Up until Saturday, we’re going to see a mixture of sunshine and showers with strong, blustery westerly winds."
