Changbin x Autry: Inside the Stray Kids Star's First Codesigned Collection

Changbin of Stray Kids is expanding his role at Autry from brand ambassador to co-designer. The Italian footwear label has released a capsule collection developed alongside the K-pop artist, who was named Autry's first global brand ambassador last February, marking his most hands-on fashion partnership to date.

The collection spans footwear, ready-to-wear and accessories, all built around a personal symbol Changbin's fans will recognize immediately: the "dwaekki" tail, a stylized character that blends a rabbit and a pig and has become a signature motif within his fandom. The capsule also introduces a custom Changbin x Autry logo, which tucks a smiling face into the "U" of the Autry name, rendered in the artist's signature pink.

That pink shows up most visibly on Autry's Medalist sneaker, the brand's 1980s-inspired, bestselling low-top silhouette, which appears here in all-white leather with the dwaekki tail motif, shoelace tips and capsule logo all picked out in pink on the outsole. The Hyperway, Autry's entry in the popular "dad shoe" category, gets a different treatment in black with pink accents along the heel and outsole. Apparel rounds out the range with oversize zip-up hoodies in black and burgundy, T-shirts, a baseball cap and ribbed socks, each carrying the tail motif and capsule branding.

Speaking to WWD about the collaboration, Changbin described the process as a chance to translate his personal aesthetic onto Autry's established silhouettes, calling the brand's style "the perfect canvas to share part of my world through fashion in a meaningful and personal way." He also emphasized wearability, noting he wanted the pieces to feel comfortable for everyday use rather than purely collectible.

The collection arrives alongside a dedicated ad campaign shot at Autry's headquarters, housed in a restored 17th-century villa outside Venice, and is rolling out through the brand's e-commerce site as well as its recently opened shop-in-shop locations at Isetan Shoes Lab in Tokyo and Galleria Luxury Hall West in Seoul, alongside select retailers across Asia. Autry is marking the launch with in-person activations in Seoul and Tokyo this week, featuring product previews and installations tied to the collection.

The partnership underscores a broader pattern in fashion, where K-pop artists are increasingly moving beyond ambassador roles into actual product development, giving brands a direct line to a highly engaged, globally connected fan base. For Autry, aligning with an artist whose visual identity is already fan-documented down to a specific symbol offers a built-in marketing language, while for Changbin, the capsule adds a design credit to a resume that already spans music production and songwriting within Stray Kids.

Pricing for the collection ranges from $35 for socks to $300 for the Medalist sneaker, according to WWD, positioning the capsule as accessible relative to typical designer collaborations while still carrying a premium tied to its limited, artist-driven nature.
