Chanelle Hayes is not keen on the idea of Big Brother comeback.
The 34-year-old star thinks it's 'too soon' for the Channel 4 reality show to return to TV screens amid fears it would 'end up like Love Island'.
After appearing on the show back in 2007, Chanelle harbours bad memories from her time in the Big Brother house and is in no rush to see it back on screens.
Sharing her thoughts as rumours continue to circulate about the show's comeback, Chanelle told New! Magazine: "I think it's too soon to come back.
"It would end up just like Love Island. It wouldn't have that outrageous, down-to-earth, chaotic feel.
"I think it would be too scripted and the contestants wouldn't be as genuine."
Chanelle went on to open up about how her mental health was effected from appearing on the popular reality TV show as she compared her experience to the current Love Island contestants.
"We had to go through so many tests to check that we were mentally sound enough to be in the house and that carried on once we had left. Producers would check up on us during photoshoots and after interviews, so I felt really looked after.
"I think nowadays, social media training would be a good idea. It wasn't really relevant when I was on TV, but with it being so important now, participants need to be shown how to protect themselves and how to conduct themselves online.
Looking back on her time on the iconic reality series, Chanelle has admitted that she has blocked out the memories from her time in the house.
"I block it out mentally. It's not on purpose, I just don't seem to remember a thing from being on it. I was so young - almost half the age I am now."
It comes as Chanelle recently announced her engagement to Dan Bingham.
The former Big Brother star revealed she was in her dressing gown and looked like a 'dog's dinner' when her partner popped the question.
Chanelle revealed she "had no idea" it would happen "while chilling in my aqua blue velour pyjamas, with a strip lash hanging off my face like a moustache, feeling shaky from the night before".
Speaking to OK! Magazine about the engagement, her partner Dan added: "I had plans to take her away, doing something really nice, but we just couldn't get the timing right with studies, work and the kids.
"It was the day after my 40th birthday and I came downstairs to 40 different presents all lined up. Then I grabbed the ring so there was one extra surprise – just for her."
