The ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 has set new viewership benchmarks in India, recording the highest-ever TV ratings for a multi-nation cricket tournament. The event surpassed the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 by an impressive 23%, making it a historic milestone in cricket broadcasting.

The tournament’s live broadcast amassed a staggering 137 billion minutes on Star Sports and 110 billion minutes on JioHotstar. This surge was fueled by a thrilling final between India and New Zealand in Dubai on March 9, which set new records for peak concurrency—122 million live viewers on TV and 61 million on JioHotstar, the highest-ever digital viewership for a cricket match.
