It was yet another thrilling week of European action as Liverpool kept their perfect record intact and Manchester City were stunned, so see our Champions League Matchday 5 round-up.

Champions League Matchday 5 Round-Up: Liverpool Top Table
There was plenty of talking points this week, including Manchester City throwing away a three-goal lead at home to Feyenoord as their winless run continued. Meanwhile Liverpool struck revenge against Real Madrid with a hard fought win.
Tuesday 26th November – City throw away three-goal lead and Gunners hit Sporting for five
The early games kicked off the night in style with AC Milan surviving a late scare against SK Slovan Bratislava. Tammy Abraham was amongst the scorers as the Italians won 3-2 away from home.
Atletico Madrid also picked up three points on the road. They stunned Sparta Prague in a 6-0 triumph with Julian Alvarez and Angel Correa both hitting braces.
Later on in the evening, competition top scorers Barcelona won 3-0 against Brest and it was a special night for Robert Lewandowski, who netted his 100th Champions League goal with yet another double.
Bayer Leverkusen also shone on the big stage again with a 5-0 victory over RB Salzburg with Florian Wirtz proving his worth, scoring twice.
In a closely contested game, Bayern Munich beat fellow European giants Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 thanks to a first half goal from South Korean defender Kim Min-Jae.
And Inter Milan kept up their unbeaten run in Europe this season with a slender 1-0 triumph over RB Leipzig. An own goal from Castello Lukeba settled the game.
As for Manchester City, they failed to win for the sixth game in a row. Pep Guardiola‘s side were 3-0 up, before three late goals from Feyenoord drew the game level at 3-3.

Arsenal got back to winning ways in the Champions League with a thunderous 5-1 victory away at Sporting, with five different goalscorers on the night.
Last but not least, Atalanta impressed once again as they hit six on the road against Young Boys. Charles De Ketelaere scored twice and assisted three more in the 6-1 hammering.
Wednesday 26th November – Liverpool too good for Madrid and Villa held by Juve
There were some upsets in the early kick-offs on Wednesday. Crvena Zvezda stunned VFB Stuttgart 5-1 with Nemanja Radonjic’s second half brace helping the cause.
La Liga side Girona were also turned over by underdogs SK Sturm Graz with Mika Biereth’s goal the only one of the game.
It’s now seven games without a win for Aston Villa as they were held to a 0-0 draw by Juventus. Morgan Rogers thought he’d won the tie in the 94th minute, but his goal was ruled out by VAR.
Ngal’ayel Mukau was the hero for Lille, as he scored a brace during their 2-1 win over Bologna.
Celtic picked up a valuable point at home to Club Brugge. Cameron Carter-Vickers netted an own goal in the first half, before Daizen Maeda equalised for the Scottish champions with a screamer.
And it was a comfortable victory for Borussia Dortmund in the Croatian capital as they beat Dinamo Zagreb 3-0. Englishman Jamie Bynoe-Gittens was on the scoresheet.
Liverpool made Real Madrid pay for their Champions League final win a couple seasons ago as the Reds cruised to 2-0 win thanks to goals from Alexis Mac Allister and Cody Gakpo. It was a night to remember as Arne Slot’s side ended their baron spell against the Spaniards.

Benfica picked up a vital three points against Monaco, scoring two late goals to come from behind and win 3-2. Zeki Amdouni scored the winner in the 88th minute.
And finally, PSV produced a comeback of a life time against Shakhtar Donetsk. The Ukrainian visitors were 2-0 up in the 87th minute, before a quick-fire Malik Tillman brace levelled the game. Ricardo Pepi was the hero though for the hosts as the Dutch side won the game in the 95th minute.
