The draw for the Champions League last-16 will take place later today in Switzerland (11am) and Chelsea and Tottenham will both be keen to learn their next opponents in the competition.
The Blues finished top of their group with 13 points after picking up four wins from their six games. After losing their opening game of the competition under Thomas Tuchel, Graham Potter successfully steered the club to the knockout stages with four wins in five games to surpass AC Milan, Red Bull Salzburg and Dinamo Zagreb.
Today will also hand Spurs their eventual fate in the competition following their dramatic victory in France last week. Antonio Conte's side were, at one point, heading out of the Champions League after finding themselves 1-0 down but managed to top their group thanks to goals from Clement Lenglet and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

Both sides are in pot 1 alongside Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Manchester City. Chelsea could face Club Brugge, Inter, Eintracht Frankfurt, RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund or PSG while Spurs could be drawn against the same plus AC Milan after facing Frankfurt in the group stage.
football.london has conducted our own stimulation of the Champions League draw and it's presented both sides with different sorts of challenges. Chelsea have been faced against Belgian champions Club Brugge - who overcame Atletico Madrid in their group - whilst Spurs would have to face Christopher Nkunku's Leipzig.
Whilst it was not possible for Chelsea or Spurs to be matched up against a fellow English side, there is no doubt that they will look at Liverpool and Manchester City’s draw with intrigue.
In our simulation, Pep Guardiola's men were drawn against Frankfurt after already battling with one German side in Dortmund this season. However, the Reds were handed possibly the toughest draw with Bayern Munich.
