Sabrina Friday, the executive director of Mother's Nest in Macon, Georgia, is working to encourage voter participation among mothers in need. In contrast, urban areas like Atlanta show high enthusiasm for both parties, with voter registration drives targeting young voters and minorities. The 2020 election saw record voter turnout, but a significant number of eligible voters, particularly those from lower-income backgrounds, did not participate. Georgia's election landscape has faced challenges, including legislative changes and ongoing disputes over voting procedures.

Bibb County's demographic profile reflects broader trends of minority representation, high poverty rates, and educational disparities. The voices of marginalized communities, often overlooked in political campaigns, underscore the need for inclusive and responsive governance.
