No word on what Chad Johnson might be in town for this weekend when it comes to the Cincinnati Bengals.
But it’s easy to speculate, right? The team’s going to unveil new alternate helmets soon and has an upcoming Ring of Honor class to announce, too.
And while those are safe bets, Johnson took to Twitter to announce his arrival with another specific idea:
Asking Bengals head Zac Taylor to sign him as a defensive back.
Funny, though jokes aside, the Bengals might just end up being down a safety during training camp after the team and Jessie Bates failed to work out an extension before this week’s deadline. That, by the way, is something Bates’ teammates aren’t too thrilled about.
Here’s the funny tweet from Chad. We’ll have more as Chad likely gets involved with the team and community soon.
It feels good to be back home, I’m going straight to Paul Brown Stadium to ask Zac Taylor to sign me as a DB, the film doesn’t lie 🔒
