CFB Watchability Index: Bedlam, LSU-Alabama Headline Loaded Week 10 Slate

Welcome to November: It’s officially time for college football’s stretch run. The first Playoff rankings have been released, and it’s time for the race for the national title to come into picture. Consider many games from now until the finish as virtual elimination contests. Who survives?

All times Eastern. Watch college football with Fubo.

Oklahoma and Oklahoma State will meet in the final edition of Bedlam on Saturday... at least for now.

Denny Medley/USA TODAY Sports

Definitely good

Kansas State vs. Texas (12 p.m., Fox)

This is the game that previous Texas teams lose. Without their best player and against a physical opponent. We’ve been told so often that this Longhorns team is different. Let’s see it.

Bedlam: Oklahoma vs. Oklahoma State (3:30 p.m., ABC)

Goodbye to Bedlam, at least for now, a consistently volatile college football spectacle, even if the outcome of the game typically went to the Crimson side of the ledger. Here’s hoping one day these two teams will decide to get back together.

Washington vs. USC (7:30 p.m., ABC)

Defense optional in this one, but it stands to reason that Washington may bring a little bit more to the table where that’s concerned. If they can hold down Caleb Williams, we know Washington can score plenty on its own.

LSU vs. Alabama (7:45 p.m., CBS)

A titanic SEC West showdown may just decide the division, as it so often has the last few years. It always feels big when these two programs get together at night.

Sneaky good (or at least with something of notable intrigue)

Notre Dame vs. Clemson (12 p.m., ABC)

The last time these two teams met it was an absolute smackdown by the Irish over a hapless Tigers team. With Clemson honestly needing the game to continue to try and secure bowl eligibility, will we see a hungry Tigers team?

Texas A&M vs. Ole Miss (12 p.m., ESPN)

The Aggies head to The Grove to take on Ole Miss. The Rebels’ defense isn’t half bad this season and creates an interesting matchup because it may be more of a defensive battle than you’d think.

Missouri vs. Georgia (3:30 p.m., CBS)

Missouri pushed Georgia to the brink last year and that was a worse version of the Tigers and a better version of the Dawgs. Mizzou is riding high this season, but the Dawgs have a way of bringing usurpers back down to earth. Will it happen this time?

James Madison vs. Georgia State (3:30 p.m., ESPN2)

The Group of 5 game to watch this week is definitely JMU vs. GSU. In many ways, neither are supposed to even be in this spot. JMU can’t play for the Sun Belt title but they are its best team. Georgia State came into the season looking like they weren’t going to make a bowl game. Now, they meet in a huge Sun Belt clash.

Well, it’s certainly better than watching not football
