Cesc Fabregas has become part-owner of Serie B club Como after signing a two-year playing deal, the club's chief executive Dennis Wise has confirmed.
The former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder was unveiled in north Italy this afternoon amid much excitement for the upwardly mobile second-tier side.
And while much of the focus is on how the 34-year-old World Cup winner's playing experience can help the squad achieve its ambition of reaching the top tier, speaking to MirrorFootball Wise said that the agreement will see Fabregas have an ownership stake.
