Lucknow: Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday accused the BJP-led central government of failing to control inflation and unemployment, claiming that it has pushed the country into a "serious economic crisis".
The former Uttar Pradesh chief minister also attacked the Centre over rising prices of petrol and diesel and asked who was accountable for the state of the economy after 12 years in power, according to a Samajwadi Party (SP) statement.
