Centre notifies appointment of Justice Manmohan as Supreme Court Judge

New Delhi: The Central Government, on Tuesday through the Ministry of Law and Justice, notified the appointment of justice-manmohan">Justice Manmohan, Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court, as a Judge of the Supreme Court of India.

Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, in a post on X, stated that "In exercise of the powers conferred by the Constitution of India, the President, after consulting the Chief Justice of India, is pleased to appoint justice-manmohan">Justice Manmohan, Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court, as a Judge of the Supreme Court of India." The Supreme Court Collegium, last week recommended the elevation of Delhi High Court Chief justice-manmohan">Justice Manmohan as a judge of the apex court.
