Census 2022: Brilliant time capsule entries including one hilarious Dublin transport dig

Census 2022 saw a new addition to this year's form, with a blank space left for a 'time capsule'. Here people can write any message they wanted.

The message will be released to the public in 100 years, leaving some interesting reading for our great-grandchildren.

Many people shared their contribution to the time capsule on social media and their entries ranged from inspiring tributes to children who had passed away and one mother’s heartfelt entry about life as full-time carer - with many lighthearted jokes in-between.
