The stage for the NBA Finals is officially set.
With the Boston Celtics eliminating the Miami Heat in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference finals, both tickets are punched for the NBA championship series. Starting in Game 1 on Thursday, the Celtics will meet the Golden State Warriors in the 2022 edition of the NBA Finals.
Prior to meeting in the NBA Finals, the Warriors and Celtics battled twice during the 2021-22 regular season. The Celtics and Warriors split their regular-season series with one win each.
