The Boston Celtics and Brooklyn Nets will meet in the playoffs for the fourth time in NBA history, and for the second consecutive year.
Behind the trio of James Harden, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, the Nets bounced the Celtics from the first round last season – but the Nets have a very different look this season. Advancing from the play-in game, the Nets are currently a two-man show led by Durant and Irving – but there’s a chance Ben Simmons could finally make his debut later in the series.
The Celtics, meanwhile, turned their season around mid-year and climbed to the No. 2 spot in the Eastern Conference, and boast the best defensive rating in the NBA.
