The Boston Celtics find themselves facing a banged-up Chicago Bulls roster they should easily beat as they return to action after the NBA’s All Star Week. Is there trap game potential here, or is this the perfect opponent to ease back into the swing of things for the Celtics?
The Bulls will be without many of their best players as they face Boston on their own home court, but have also proven capable of beating very good teams like the Minnesota Timberwolves in recent games. As per usual, this is a ball club that Boston should be able to beat easily if they play with respect for their opponent.
Whether a long break translates into a hubris-fueled loss remains to be seen, but we expect the Celtics to come out focused, build a large lead early, and then let the starters rest in the fourth. Sound familiar?
