After a pair of painful losses to the Cleveland Cavaliers and Denver Nuggets, the Boston Celtics got back on track with a 117-107 win over the Phoenix Suns at Footprint Center this past Saturday evening. Big games from Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Jrue Holiday secured the win for the Celtics, who avoided entering into a three-game losing streak for the first time this season as a result.
Holding off the Suns in two pushes in the tilt’s second half fueled by a monster 45-point game from Phoenix superstar Kevin Durant was an impressive response to the Celtics’ recent unfocused and uninspired play.
The hosts of the CLNS Media “How Bout Them Celtics!” podcast recently weighed in on the victory for Boston on a recent episode, getting into Luke Kornet’s impressive performance, and Tatum’s kind-of-solid, kind-of-iffy night vs. the Suns.
