It seems reports regarding the NBA’s 2023 Sixth Man of the Year being irked at the Boston Celtics are true, though Celtics team president Brad Stevens made it clear that a rapprochement to move beyond the trade that nearly sent Malcolm Brogdon to the Los Angeles Clippers is the team’s focus ahead of training camp according to recent reporting from the Boston Globe’s Gary Washburn. “I would say he had every right to feel (upset), said Stevens.
“We said that this summer. But he’s a real pro and so we’ve had several discussions,” added the Celtics president, who explained that the situation was, per Washburn, something the team was working towards resolving with the Virginia alum. “He’s looking forward to getting started.”
