There has been no lack of coverage of the new-look Boston Celtics, and as their preseason slate of games has showed us, that’s for a very good reason indeed. The additions of Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday have made this ball club a wagon, with only a handful of teams in the NBA likely to be able to hold their own vs. Boston.
The Celtics are, by all accounts, a contender — and in many corners the favorite to win it all. But what about the rest of the league? Where will Boston’s peers fall in terms of wins and losses in the 2023-24 regular season? How is the conventional wisdom surrounding the Association’s other contenders, pretenders, and also-rans?
To get a bead on the over/under outlook on all 30 teams in the NBA, the hosts of the CLNS Media “Celtics Lab” podcast linked up with MassLive’s Souichi Terada to break down what we expect from Boston and their opponents this coming campaign.
We also talk about our camp and preseason perspectives, potential extensions, and a surprising hire as we get caught up on news.
