Boston Celtics star forward Jayson Tatum continued his yearly tradition of throwing the first pitch at Major League Baseball games, this time with a hometown touch. Tatum, a native of St. Louis, Missouri, performed the ceremonial first pitch before a game between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Minnesota Twins at Busch Stadium.
The Celtics All-NBA forward was accompanied by his son, Deuce, both donning retro blue Cardinals uniforms to show support for their favorite MLB team, the elder Tatum wearing his casually, with only a single button fastened near the collar.
The big event showcased his support for his hometown team, and the pitch itself was captured on video by the folks behind the ESPN YouTube channel.
Take a look at the ceremonial pitch from the former Duke standout for yourself in the clip embedded above.
