Whoever wins or loses the Eastern Conference semifinals series between the Boston Celtics and the Milwaukee Bucks will owe themselves quite a pat on the back given there’s been more than a few NBA Finals series with less intense, less certain, and to be fair, less interesting battles.
Through six games total, the two teams have come about as close as any two juggernauts can, and the likely series outcome may depend on who has the energy — and the health — to get across the finish line in Sunday’s Game 7 showdown. Will it be the rising, young Celtics to win the day? Or the more experienced Bucks?
