When it comes to Boston Celtics alumni playing in FIBA qualifiers this summer, it isn’t all happening only in Europe; former Boston big man Kelly Olynyk has been tearing it up on the court in FIBA play for the Canadian National Team as well.
Most recently, in a game against the Panamanian National Team that saw Canada crush the isthmian country’s team so hard, they could have won twice over at 106-50 (yes, really), the Olynyk Klynyk was in full effect. The Canadian center put up 18 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, a block, and as many steals in the blowout win.
The Kamloops, British Columbia native shot 4-of-7 from the field, 3-of-5 from beyond the arc, and a perfect 7-of-7 from the charity stripe.
Take a look at the clip embedded above to see Olynyk’s game against Panama in full.
