Celtic XI to face Hearts confirmed as Postecoglou makes Bernabei and Hatate decisions

Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou has named Alexandro Bernabei in his team to face Hearts this afternoon.

Glasgow Live previously reported the 21-year-old was arrested following an alleged incident in the city centre. Claims of a 'drink-driving offence' and a 'breach of the peace bust-up', were reported by the Daily Record and he was taken into custody and later released. Postecoglou doesn't start him over Greg Taylor but Bernabei could find himself involved from the bench at Parkhead.

Regulars like Joe Hart, Callum McGregor and Kyogo Furuhashi also start. Celtic are hunting a fourth straight win this Premiership season after a victory away at Kilmarnock last weekend maintained their 100% start. Their manager said of Bernabei ahead of this fixture: "Yeah, there was an [alleged] incident earlier in the week. Now there are processes taking place both externally and internally, and when they come to a conclusion, we’ll take the appropriate measures.

Reo Hatate is also back on the bench for Celtic after a recent injury and it means periphery man James McCarthy is back out the squad.

Celtic XI: Hart, Juranovic, Jenz, Carter-Vickers, Taylor, McGregor, O'Riley, Turnbull, Jota, Maeda, Kyogo.

Subs: Siegrist, Starfelt, Giakoumakis, Abada, Mooy, Hatate, Bernabei, Forrest, Ralston.
