Celtic vs Rangers prediction, odds and team news

It's the big one this Sunday with a place in the Scottish Cup final on offer - and it's not one that you want to miss.

It's the second meeting in just a few weeks for the Glasgow rivals after their titanic Scottish Premiership tussle earlier in April.

Before that though, Giovanni van Bronckhorst and his Rangers men have the small matter of a Europa League quarter-final second leg against Braga.

Celtic, meanwhile, are dreaming of a domestic Treble under Ange Postecoglou and are sitting pretty six points clear at the top of the Premiership table, with the Premier Sports Cup in the bag.

Hearts or Hibernian will meet the winner of this semi-final and we will keep you updated with all the latest news and build-up ahead of the huge match.

Ahead of the game, our tipster Robert Mann takes a look at some of the best bets from Celtic vs Rangers to get your teeth stuck into.

Celtic vs Rangers betting tips & predictions

Celtic are 23/20 to win, with Rangers priced at 21/10 to come away with the victory. A draw is priced at 11/5.

Prediction: Celtic to win 2-1 (15/2)

To win in 90 minutes: Celtic (23/20)

Celtic, incredibly, have won on their past 17 cup visits to the Mount Florida arena - the longest such run in the history of the Scottish game.

Rangers, in contrast, have endured some grim afternoons at the national stadium over the same six seasons and, as a result, the odds favour Celtic to get the job done within 90 minutes.

Anytime Goalscorer: Tom Rogic (4/1)

If there is one Celtic player that Rangers are likely to be apprehensive of facing at Hampden, it is surely going to be Australian playmaker Tom Rogic.

A player who often produces his best on the major occasions, Rogic’s Ibrox strike the other week was his sixth against Rangers across his nine years with the club - and he could go close again on Sunday afternoon.

To be carded: James Tavernier (7/2)

Rangers captain James Tavernier will be the only player in the Ibrox ranks at the weekend to have previously experienced a last four tie in the Scottish Cup against Celtic.

The right-back, however, has been shown nine yellow cards inside 31 games for the Gers so far this season and this fiery tie could see him earn his name in the book once again.

Celtic team news

Kyogo Furuhashi has been out of action since December for the Hoops, but he returned to the pitch against St Johnstone and will be an option on Sunday - but that will likely be from the bench, according to Postecoglou.

Considering his recent form, Giorgos Giakoumakis should be set to lead the line for Celtic - if he's passed fit after limping off against St Mirren. Fans spotted the Greek forward back in training on Celtic's social media channels earlier this week.

Celtic possible starting lineup:

Hart; Juranovic, Carter-Vickers, Starfelt, Taylor; McGregor, Hatate, Rogic; Jota, Maeda, Giakoumakis

Rangers team news

Rangers were dealt a major blow during the international break as Alfredo Morelos was sent back to Glasgow over fitness concerns, and he has since been ruled out for the rest of the season.

Filip Helander is out for the rest of the season but Aaron Ramsey has said he's hitting his stride while Ryan Jack and Calvin Bassey are available.

Rangers possible starting lineup:

McGregor; Tavernier, Balogun, Goldson, Bassey ; Lundstram, Jack, Ramsey; Aribo, Kent, Roofe
