Gwangju FC midfielder Jung Ho-Yeon has been warned against a "clumsy situation" in a quickfire move to Europe with Celtic credited with transfer interest.
The 23-year-old was previously linked with Celtic in October with speculation over a move for the player. And reports in Korea suggest Jung is still being targeted for a European move.
However, Gwangju manager Lee Jung-Hyo has warned the player against finding himself in a "clumsy situation" as he urged Jung to consider delaying a move to Europe.
The manager had previously stated Jung wasn't good enough for Celtic and stated the player would likely end up back in Korea should he make the move to Europe too soon.
And now, as reported by Donga, Jung has been served another blunt warning from his current boss.
He said: "Jung Ho-Yeon is currently in talks to advance to Europe from Gwangju, but still have a long way to go.
"If you go to Europe now, you are bound to end up in a clumsy situation.
"It is wise to prepare well like Cho Gue-sung and choose the team and league well."
Cho - who was also linked with Celtic - made the move to Midtjylland in the summer.
Discussing a possible Celtic move for Jung previously, Gwangju boss Lee said: “I haven’t heard anything, but Jung doesn't have the quality to go to Celtic.
"I hope he grows up, improves and eventually goes.
"But in its current situation, there is a high probability that he would come straight back.
