Banik Ostrava manager Pavel Vrba says his side's friendly match with Celtic will be the 'highlight' of their summer preparation work.
Ange Postecoglou's side have been in Austria over the last week for a pre-season training camp, taking in friendlies with Wiener Viktoria and Rapid Wien. Now they journey to Czech Republic to help Banik commemorate their 100-year anniversary. The hosting club have said it will be 'absolutely exceptional in its atmosphere' and Vrba shares similar sentiments.
He believes that while ultimately it's only a friendly, a big occasion against the Premiership champions adds an extra element. Vrba told his club's website : “Of course, we are aware of the game and that a full stadium will arrive. The fans are looking forward to the game, so are we, and we will do our best to please them. The atmosphere will be great. In this respect, the match will be the highlight of the preparation.
