Celtic to land extra Scottish Cup Final tickets as Inverness suffer 'sluggish' sales

Celtic are set to get an extra batch of tickets to sell to supporters as Inverness get set to send back some of their Scottish Cup final allocation.

The Hoops are hunting a Treble and a win over Billy Dodds' Championship side this Saturday at Hampden would grant them that. But debate had swirled over how many briefs the Premiership champions were likely to have, as their support dwarfs the Highland club.

It's now claimed by The Scottish Sun that 'sluggish sales' have "forced club chiefs to hand back a few thousands briefs to the SFA which are now expected to be handed over to their Hampden opponents". It's already proving to be a tricky fixture for Caley Thistle fans after the kick-off time was moved out of the traditional 3pm slot to 5.30pm in order to avoid a clash with the FA Cup final between Man City and Man United.

It will mean that Inverness will cheered on by "barely" 6000 fans. In contrast, Celtic supporters will fill the rest of the national stadium.
