Martin Compston celebrated his birthday surrounded by his true loves for the special occasion, friends and, of course, it wouldn't be complete without a Celtic-themed birthday cake.
The Line of Duty star turned 39 this week while he was filming a new BBC series, and his pals surprised him with the incredible looking green and white delightful treat as he posed proudly with it on social media.
The self-confessed Hoops-daft Scottish actor couldn't wipe the grin off his face as he posed with the round cake, which had the Celtic logo plastered in the middle. It was shared to Instagram by his friend, Scots TV presenter Phil MacHugh.
The yummy footie-decorated cake had white frosting on the top with a 'Happy Birthday' decoration and candles revealing his age.
Sharing it on his Instagram story, his best pal Phil wrote: "Our birthday bhoy!"
The pair are currently filming out in the Shetland Islands for their hit 'Northern Fling' travel show following the success of its first season 'Scottish Fling.'
The friends will embark on another adventure, which is sure to be packed with as many laughs as its first instalment.
Martin and Phil will start their voyage in Shetland before travelling the length of Norway, with it set to land on the small screen later this year.
BBC boss Steve Allen said: "Viewers loved these series though they each brought something very different to the table.
"Martin and Phil’s irrepressible sense of fun, based on their solid friendship, delighted viewers as they travelled across Scotland and it is going to be so interesting – and I would expect a lot of fun – to get their take on Norway."
We previously reported how the long-time Celtic supporter celebrated the recent Scottish Cup semi-final win over Rangers earlier this month.
Posting an image of himself and a pal in his quirky Celtic-themed bar in his Las vegas home, Martin wrote on Instagram: “Bar 1888 open after hours in Vegas last night, doubles leading to trebles.”
The Greenock-born actor sported a Hoops jersey and raised a tipple to his favourite boys on the pitch alongside his pal, surrounded by Celtic memorabilia, including framed and signed match-worn tops from his work with Parkhead charity matches over the years.
